Display football scoreline in a cell

Hi,


I had imported the premier league results from the web. The scoreline which should actually read, for ex, 3-1 returns a date (1-Mar) once it gets imported to the cell. Now when I changed the format of the cell as "text", the result was a datevalue (40603). I have no problems when the scoreline is 0-2, 0-4 etc.


Is there a way to import the scoreline as it is?

Instead of changing the cell format to text,

change it to a Custom Number and use the format m-d
