Determine a percentage for a time duration

My daughter is a competitive swimmer and wants to know what her times would be if she improved them by 5%. For example, her fastest time for a 200 metre free style is 2 minutes, 4 seconds and 36 one hundredths of a second (2.04.36). I'd like to build a simple calculator where she puts in her target improvement e.g. how fast would she swim if she swam 5% quicker. Any suggestions?

To work out the time with 5% knocked off:

=A1-(A1*0.05)

You could have the 0.05 in a cell (e.g. C1):

=A1-(A1*C1)

Excel 2016 (Windows) 32 bit
A
B
C
1
00:02.36
00:02.24
5.00%
Sheet: Sheet1

A1 needs to be custom formatted thus:

mm:ss.00

Format for C1 is percentage.
