My daughter is a competitive swimmer and wants to know what her times would be if she improved them by 5%. For example, her fastest time for a 200 metre free style is 2 minutes, 4 seconds and 36 one hundredths of a second (2.04.36). I'd like to build a simple calculator where she puts in her target improvement e.g. how fast would she swim if she swam 5% quicker. Any suggestions?
