Desktop excel to online excel

I have master.xls that has formulae which links to a cell in data.xls. Means, data fed in data.xls appears in master.xls

Now, i wish to keep master.xls file online in say 'Google Drive' or as excel online file in outlook.com.

My requirement is: if i change the cell value in data.xls ( desktop file ) and upload it again to google drive or excel online in outlook, will the master.xls file get updated automatically with the latest data from data.xls ?

Hi,
This doesn't belongs to a excel question.
Same is possible!!!
GD: Save the file in GD folder on your pc & change the value & save the file.
Afterwards access the drive.google.com & check the changes.

Check the same with OneDrive/Dropbox.
