Deleting activities/tasks from Gantt Chart

Hi

I am using the Project Management Dashboard which has a Gantt chart. My project does not have 100 tasks as included in the sample. When I delete the activity line items I don't need, my Gantt chart shows up with #REF etc.

How can I adjust this so my Gantt chart only shows 30-40 activities instead of the sample 100 activities.

Can you hide the rows/columns that you don't need? Charts usually don't show hidden data.

Note: I've not actually used Chandoo's tool, so I'm just guessing here.

Hi Luke

I am actually using Chandoo's tool. Because of the way the charts are built, it is looking for referential information and I am not able to eliminate it.

Thanks

Hi mkrengas,

Yes, I figured you were using the tool. However, I do not have access to the tool, so I don't know the exact setup. With the fresh tool (before you start deleting things), can you just hide the rows you don't need so that they disappear from the chart?
