DATA inside a text into a excel

In this problem, i have posted two files 1)input data1 and 2 )required output data.


Example:

This is a data present under a DTC (5.1.2.2 DTC 060Ah )

Diagnostic mode DTC 060Ah Fault type : F1h

We need to list in excel "Diagnostic mode DTC" "Fault type"

060A F1

F2

49

and next follows other "Diagnostic mode DTC and corresponding fault type.


That means search for "Diagnostic mode DTC " in the textfile and list its number and also its corresponding fault type.

please guide me where to put the input datfile and how to run the macro.because i am new to this subject.

Hi Guna..


Is the TEXT file is copied from any PDF/DOC, or the source is always in NOTEPAD..(in both case.. previous also..)!!!

as I think.. When you copy the data from actual source.. its loosing its TABLE formatting.. If we got the actual source.. from where the data is originating.. then it may be little bit easier for us.. other wise.. we need follow same HARD-WORK like Narayan..

Can anyone do give me favour by giving a software to cut the unwanted pages of pdf before sending. So that i will send my data in pdf after cutting the confidential data and sending only required to you hereafter:).

As per your suggestion, i have reframmed my input data to a pdf file.


there are two types of data extarct problem i attatched both types input in pdfand as well as my required data output in excel.
