Dashboard to monitor weight and exercise

Hi Brains trust!


I am embarking on a diet and exercise routine. I would like a Excel Dashboard to monitor my progress. Anyone got one for me that can monitor the normal things?

Here is a small set of instructions if you want to make a dashboard in excel to monitor your weight and diet.


1. Identify what you wanted to know about your self. List down various key things, for eg.

> daily weight

> calorie intake

> calories burned thru exercises

> food consumed by group every day (proteins, carbs, fat, vitamins or fruits, veggies, meat, grains, milk etc.)

> Miles ran, cycled, swam etc.

> Max / avg. heart rate, max / avg. speed

> Target weight, target distance ran, target calories burned, target food consumption etc.


2. Now findout the kind of data that would let you get all the things in step 1. Identify ways to get this data.

3. Now make an excel sheet with tables to input such data

4. Finally make some charts, arrange them in a dashboard fashion


That is all.
