Custom Format a Number

Is there a way to display numbers to the hundreds?? (not thousands)

I'm referring to a way via Format Cell, not using rounding or using divisors.


So for example, 350 can be displayed as 3.5 or 4. Any ideas?? I only know how to take it to the thousands, but is not what I want. Thanks!!

Do you have 1 or 2 of these cells you want to format this way or hundreds ?

I know this is not perfect solution, but you can try something like,


#,##0,"0 hundreds"


it rounds the number to nearest thousands and then adds a zero at the end along with the word hundreds at the end.

I was going to suggest a few sleeper cells off to the side somewhere with a divide by 100 formula in them and then use the camera tool to shift the divided answer back on top of the original number so that it looks as if it were 4.32 for 432

This allows for any factor as the divisor

The problem is using more than a few Camera Tools is messy
