Count the numbers of line items based on a criteria

Good Evening All,
I require a formula which can count the number of line items with a given criteria. So I have 2 sheets. 1st sheet has got 4 columns (Queue type, State, Status, Date). One the second sheet I have to add a formula in the column C and F for the cells highlighted in yellow.
For CO state - it should count the number of line items based on each "queue type" and "status". There are only 2 status - HOLD and FAQ. Also I require the oldest date column in the sheet 2 to be filled automatically based on the oldest date of the state and the queue type and status.
Please help me with this...

Is FAQ is the status for Work in Hand column and HOLD is the status for HOLD column?

FAQ does not comes under any of these.
We just need the hold status.

work in hand is total number of line items for each state. and hold is the number of line items which has status as hold for each state.
