Corrupt Excel File Prevention

Hello All!


I am working with an 2010 Excel file that is approximately 3MB in size with complex formulas on multiple tabs. It is stored in SharePoint V9 and is updated continually with new versions saved.


Do I need to do anything special to ensure the file does not become corrupt? I would hate to lose the file and have to revert to an older version due to the volume of changes that take place daily.


Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Every now and then do a Ctrl+Alt+F9

That rebuilds the internal calculation hierarchy


Backups, make sure you have them and that they work
