copy columns from one sheet to another

Hi all, just a quick question: if I have two sheets with the same columns but in different order, is there a quick way how I can copy over columns from one spreadsheet into another? Say I have columns A, B and C in spreadsheet 1. In spreadsheet 2 I've got columns A, D and B. I want to be able to tranfer data from columns A and B into spreadsheet 2, but I have to keep column D as well.... Btw, we are talking about 30 random columns in my original files. I can match the headers. Ideally I'm looking for a quick smart solution if it exists...Thanks a lot to you all!

In Excel 2013 MS introduced Relationships



This allows you to do exactly what you want

But don't ask me how to use it

Hi Hui, thanks a lot for your reply. It must be Excel 2010 or 2013? A day when I upgrade my Excel 2007 will come very soon I hope...

Relationships are only available in 2013 onwards
