Continous number - Make same number four times before continue

Dear All,


I have problem when I want make this series number for Question ID in Excel.


Question ID Answer

1 answer A

1 answer B

1 answer C

1 answer D

2 answer A

2 answer B

2 answer C

2 answer D


So basically I need to make number four times before it continuous to next number.

Anybody can tell me how to make it more easier.

After you have put the 4 x 1's

assuming they are in A2:A5

I'd put in A6 =A2+1

Copy down

Then Select B2:B5 which contain A-D

Drag the small square at the bottom right of the cell B5, down as far as you need to
