i have data with sales location wise. i just need to show positions (1,2,3...) on the basis of maximum sales.


i have uploaded file on below link.


kindly advise how i can position them on yellow highlighted format.

This is with reference to your sheet, place in F4, Press Ctrl+Shift+Enter to execute and drag down:

=MATCH(D4+ROW(D4)/1000,LARGE($D$4:$D$8+ROW($A$4:$A$8)/1000,ROW($A$1:$A$5)),0)
