In the file you asked for it not to be a pivot table so with that in mind Change H8 to a date (you have text Jan) 1/01/2013. Now put this formula in I8;

=SUMPRODUCT((MONTH($B$5:$B$35)=MONTH(H8))*($D$5:$D$35=J8)*($C$5:$C$35))

may i know any shortcuts formula

Hi Safiyya

Without seeing your data it will be difficult to give any meaningful advice. If you could save a sample of your dataset with the desired output after the formula is applied that would be most helpful. Here is a link on uploading files.

Sorry I did not see your post earlier.

"the Solution is not working"

Well I just copied my formula into your file and following my own instructions. I usually don't post a file when I have thrown someone an Alley Oop Pass but here is your file with the formula rolling like thunder. The pivot table confirm the results in Yellow on the data tab.

Hope this helps you reach a conclusion.

It is not a polite thing to hijack someone else’s post. If you have a question no matter how similar you think it may be to some on else’s post then start a fresh post with a good descriptive title.

Many members may have viewed this post and because that cannot or are unable to help will not re-visit the post so you are, by burying your post in another, restricting the views and help you would get if you posted your own question to its own post.

Also you are not confusing the OP’s question with members answering your question in their post.
