Conditional formatting

Hi, is there a way to use conditional formatting to do neat things like have a cell flash when certain criteria are met? For example, if the result of a formula is not equal to zero, hightlight the cell, flash, blinking lights, etc. to draw attention to the delta. Thanks.

With conditional formatting you can change the appearance of cells, including the Font and all properties, background and all properties and border properties.

You can have warning boxes pop up using data validation with relevant messages.

I think they dropped the sparkle font property when they went to Office 2007!

ps: Text Effects used to be a font property in Word upto 2003 and was dropped in 2007

It was never available in Excel. I do miss the twinkle and sparkle effects.
