Dear Friends,

Please find enclosed herewith an excel file that holds Party Names and Addresses. I want to set the conditional formatting criterion in such a way as the Party that has no address will appear in BOLD RED Font. I have done one of them Manually to show my requirement.

Also show how will be the procedure if the platform is excel 2003.

Regards,

Somnath

Hi Somnath,

Find attached file with conditional formatting. Just do the conditional formatting for the first cell and copy the same cell and paste all cell cells below using "paste special formats". it will applies for all cells.

Hi Somnath,

To do the whole range in one go, follow these steps

Select the range B4:B136
Select Conditional Formatting > New Rule > Use a formula to determine which cells to format
Enter =C4="" then click the Format button and Font, Bold, color - Red >OK
