Conditional Formatting Help

I need to be able to conditionally format an excel sheet such that dates less than x are highlighted one color and those dates less then y are another highlight and those less than z are a third color with those dates greater than z are a fourth color.

I have attached a brief sample to domonstrate the layout.

There are multiple columns and multiple dates which may change daily

How to setup the CF rules: Note the use of dollar signs. DEfault color of all the cells if red (other)

Is there a way to "Copy & paste" this conditional formatting if there are 1,000 columns... each with different dates in rows 2,3,4

You could (copy, paste special - formatting), but the preferred method would be to just extend the "Applies to range" to incude the columns you want. I wrote the formulas so that it can be applied to any size range.
