Conditional formatting based on differnet ro(Not able to drag for every cell)

Hi All,


I am using a Formulae" =$AB$8=FALSE" Then AA8 is Red.It is Happening


But the problem is i want the same for the next 100 Cells.


Let Me explain.


It is Like


=$AB$8=FALSE" Then AA8 is Red

=$AB$9=FALSE" Then AA9 is Red

=$AB$10=FALSE" Then AA10 is Red

=$AB$11=FALSE" Then AA11 is Red

.....

=$AB$100=FALSE" Then AA100 is Red


Do i need to go to every cell and configure the CF or there is another way to do it.


please help me out

Select all the cells and then apply your CF

 

[Hui]

Choose I assume AA8:AA108 or your data range

Apply a CF using a formula

=$AB8=FALSE


Apply


Excel will automatically adjust for each row

The $8 in your existing CF is forcing it to look at row 8 for every row
