Conditional Formatting and Gantt Chart issues!

Hi mate!!


Love the forum - have used it anonymously for many months now, but this last one is killing me. Followed your Gannt chart creation instructions, as well as downloaded some of the samples, but just unable to get it to work.


1. Can't get the formula to work to siplay BOTH the planned activities and the actual progress. Conditional formatting won't work no matter what I try.

2. Can't red the red bar around the "current day/week" column.


Can you please give more simple steps for Excel Newbies?? (I'm only a novice, no where near the expert levels here!!).

Can you please be a bit more specific about :

- The version of Excel your using

- The exact file and location of the problem


Can you put Chandoo's link in your response so we can see which file your refering too

Also, I am not sure what you meant by "display both plan and actual". the sheet shows only one at a time. Also, pls. go thru the lessons on CF here before jumping in to the file.
