Conditional formating using custom styles?

Hi gusy.

Does anybody know if it is possible to use cell styles or some other predefined custom formats with conditional formatting?

I normally use predefined styles for example for error checks, good, bad, results, etc for consistency.. Would like to apply those as result of conditional formating without haveing to define each aspect of the format every time...

I see for example that in Cond Format -> highlight cells rules excel provides a list of predefined formats... any way to change this list?

I don't believe there is a way to setup pre-defined colors styles for use in CF

Having said that somebody is now bound to show us how.


You could setup a macro to apply predefined Styles to the currently selected area
