Conditional Formating in Table

I have one column in Excel 2013 Table that isn't carrying the conditional format when a new row is inserted. The conditional format is a drop down list to choose an entry. Any help is appreciated. If the cell contents are copied using copy/paste then the formatting is there.
Thanks,
Lee

Is the formatting already applied to every row in the table, or just a few? We would want the former so that XL knows to apply the format to any new rows as well.

I'm sorry it isn't conditional formatting it is Data Validation that isn't copying. It is from a Drop Down List from a range on another worksheet in the same workbook.

I was scratching the head wondering what you where on about with CF dropdown, if you upload a sample we can see what you are attempting.

I found that some of the cells didn't have Data Validation in them and when it was applied to all cells in the column the new cells in that column now have the correct Data Validation.
Thanks and sorry for the misinformation but you guys made me think and Luke was on the right path in that some of the cells didn't have the Data Validation.
