compile error user-defined type not defined

I have received a .xlsm file, hereby there is a lot of coding....I am going through step by step for each by using F8 key,


When the first time I press F8 there is a "Public po_QNode As SmartArtNode" declaration (i think) which gets highlight and throws the above error....


After googleing & googleing I beleive that some refrence is missing, can someone help me to get it work...

I think the first thing the VBA experts are going to ask is if you can upload the code.

The SmartArtNode class was introduced in Office 2010. If you're using a version of Excel earlier than that then you won't be able to use it.

Thanks Colin Legg....you are on the spot......I have Excel 2007....and from whom I received the file has Excel 2010....

I hv gone back saying I require a higher version...

Good idea. IMO Excel 2010 is a much better version than Excel 2007.
