COLORS CHANGING AUTOMATICALLY - Advice

Hi,

I have edited a smart art diagram in Excel so certain shapes change to a certain color - based on a particular VLOOKUP cell value.

The colors do change, however each time a new value is determined from the VLOOKUP formula - I need to manually go into the cell (with the VLOOKUP formula) & click 'enter' at the end of the formula (the colors then change correctly).

Is there anyway I can make this automatically occur? So I would not need to keep manually clicking 'enter' after each new value appears.
