Cohort Analysis?

Hi, I need some help on how to do a cohort analysis. The idea is to understand how authors have over time done. Time data is over 2 months and I have around 100 authors. Need to group it in weeks and see how authors have done.

Also if anyone has a sample excel sheet on cohorts pls share with me. (Have shared a pic of the file) Eg: Author "A" posted one article on 12th and 7 on 14th, and this is the first week...need to do a cohort for this sample size across two months (i.e.7 weeks data)

Pleas upload a sample file with desired out from the data. This will help those who are unfamiliar with cohort analysis in complete details.
 
Hey....SirJB7...thanks had already done all that....the idea was to know how to do the calculations from the start.......still working on it so lets see....:)
