Check value from multiple rows

Hi,

I have A set of data as seen in column A and B(master data). I need to run a check for a column G(category), such that the formula checks multiple instances or options of a value from master data and if it corresponds then ok, if not not ok

Hi,

In "H3" enter with Ctrl+Shift+Enter and copy down:

=IFERROR(IF(MATCH($F3&$G3,$B$3:$B$17&$C$3:$C$17,0)>0,"OK",),"NOT OK")

Hope this helps

Hi PCosta,

The array formula does not copy down the other cells. I tried dragging down while holding shift and CTRL as well. The formula remains the same for all cells. What might I be doing wrong?

Try dragging down normally :)
EDIT: unless you have the Office set for a language that uses ";" instead of "," like me... it is best if you refer to the file I attached. Excel will handle the conversion if necessary.
