Hello

I am sending three document where you have 3 charts that needs to be done in some "normal" excel form that could be after worked on. So basically to create the same template so data can be picked up.

This is quite a challenge I would say :)

Hi ,

What is the question ?

The files you have uploaded , are Excel workbooks , and contain the actual charts , not just pictures. All that is required for anyone to replicate each of the examples is to go through the workbooks ; put in some effort and time.

If you are asking for a tutorial or a detailed explanation of how to create these charts , that is a different matter ; but , as far as I know , the second chart is a waterfall chart , and Jon Peltier has a blog post on this.

I think it is clear that these charts cant be used because the formulas are set up is complex.

As mentioned I want it simplified and to get version that I can put my data.

I dont think that there is tutorial for this particular charts because it is a mix of more details.

Regards and thank you

Hi ,

If that is so , can you upload your data ? Put in random data , but ensure that your data layout is what you will be using in practice.

This will help because we will know what we should aim for.

These are certainly not standard Excel charts, but they all calculate from basic data input areas
I'd be inclined to copy these worksheets as is into your model
Then establish linkages to your data into the data input areas
the charts and associated ranges will then do the rest for you

Ok, thanks guys for your help.

But there is one more problem, for example 2 I can directly change data in the fields from D3 to D13, same can be done on other two examples but after doing this I cant copy chart so the format remains the same (ctrl c - crtl v) and when I copy it, it becomes useless.

I have created dashboard and I already have some charts, but I would like to join these three into the dashboard.

So lets say that I have only this data (same like in example 2) And when I change it or copy to other document I want to format to remain the same. This would be even bigger challenge.

Same thing for other two documents, how will format of chart remain the same when change data/copy document?
