Challenge in Pivot Chart ( Simple but seems typical)

Hi Everyone

I have made a pivot chart from the summarize data but Option to Switch row/column is not working in the pivot chart . On the other hand if we make the same chart without Pivot then this function is working.

Please have a look on the attached sheet and solve this issue.

This is simple but looking typical.

Show Field List
Drag the Sum Values to the Columns
Drag the Date to the Rows

Hi Ram ,

As far as I can see , on my system , the option to switch Rows and Columns is working.

Can you upload a file showing exactly what you want to happen ; leave aside the Switch Rows option ; what should be on the X-axis , and what should the column height represent ?

In the existing setup , the X-axis is dates , and the column height represents the total of category A and category E.

Actually i need category A and E in X axis and dates in Column Axis. i have made the graph manually after transposing the pivot data in attached sheet.

In attached file, Please refer the graph whose title is " Required Graph through pivot table data" and then design the same graph through pivot table.

Hi Ram ,

As I said earlier , the Switch Rows / Columns is working ; on the file you uploaded , I could click the button , and as you can see in the attached file , the result is exactly what you have shown in the second chart on the right.
