Calculations within pivot tables

Hi All,

I am having a little trouble trying to work out whether it is possible to perform calculations on grouped items within a pivot table and subsequently generate a pivot chart?

I have not been able to work out an "elegant" way to do it, just the clumsily put together example in the attached workbook.

Any help would be awesome.

Right click on COGS value field. Go to Show Value As tab.
In "Base Item:" locate Income and hit OK.

This will show COGS as % of Income.

However, how your data is organized isn't ideal. I'd recommend reworking your data model.
