Can you use an Excel Table as a data source for another Excel Table? I have an Excel Table that uses SQL as a data source. The user needs to then manually edit the data in that table knowing they are not affecting the database and that it will be overwritten the next time the data is pulled.
I want to then base a second Excel Table on that data, where it dynamically expands for more or less rows just like the first Excel Table, and I can filter out certain records.
I had asked before (http://chandoo.org/forums/topic/pivot-table-as-data-source-for-an-excel-table-in-the-same-spreadsheet) if it could be based on a Pivot table, but the Excel table could possibly work just as well.
