Bar Chart - Planned and Actual

Hi folks,


I have two sets of data PLANNED and ACTUAL.


I would like to plot the data on the same bar chart where the actual shows in red over the plaaned shown in blue.


The periods relate to time and thus the actual could over lap the planned or in fact start ealrier than planned and thus a (- time) parameter is required.


I have modified some charts so far to depict more or less what I am looking for and would appreciate any advice / help I can get?


The lower graph in the next link is what I am trying to achieve.

I think an adaptation of a Gantt chart may work but then again I would stil require your help.
