Autofilling using an odd pattern

Hi again,

Need help autofilling a column.

Column C has item names, and I need to autofill another column with three cells for each value, hopefully the screen grab helps.

So in C3 - Club Chair, I need to duplicate as E3, E4, E5, and then C4 is duplicated as E6, E7, E8.

I am not just lazy - need to do this for a list of about 400 unique items.

Any help is appreciated.

Try this formula in cell E3, and drag to fill:

=INDEX($C$3:$C$7,1+INT((ROWS($E$2:E13)-1)/3))
