Auto refit page to print on A4 vs. Letter size

Greetings all,

I got a request from a European that my spreadsheet is set to print on "Letter" in the U.S., which is the standard here. However, when the file is sent to Europe or elsewhere the standard is "A4". The page break is messed up.

I tried in vain telling them to manually adjust the page break on print preview or page break view. But they want to be able to get the file and print direct without doing any more extra work.

Is there a way in Excel to automatically reset the paper from "Letter" size to "A4" size? There are multiple pages on the worksheet.

Please kindly advise. Thx!

Forgot to mention that the worksheet is used by both people in the US, so they will need to print on letter and not A4. I can't set the file to print on A4 for the US folks.

Auto Letter to A4 resize is usually a printer setting

So you can both have the size you want

Thanks Hui.

When I set up the file i set it up to print on "Letter" for the US folks. but once it swims across to Europe the file still retain the print setting to "Letter". So when they open up the file and hit print button the page breaks are all messed up.

Guess either they have to buy "Letter" size paper (which I know is almost non-existence outside Europe/Asia), or they will have to reformat the page break manually.

They should look at their printer settings and see if they have a Letter to A4 autoresize option, most printers do, but they aren't always enabled by default

It won't effect their A4 printing
