Auto-entry in dependant worksheet.

Hello guys.

I have a 700-line database of guitars (Ashton), organs (Yamaha), speakers (Savoy), display stands (Barkan)...etc., etc.

My Q:

The moment i make an entry for guitars in the master, i would the entry to get auto-entered in the respective worksheet named Ashton_Guitars, (same roW and same columnS) + the formatting.

The same rule applies to the remaining data entries.

The parameters of the dependant_worksheet are the same as the master.

What if you had your first 17 rows in the Master sheet taken up by Yamaha organs, when you put an Ashton Guitar in Row 18 your post reads like you would want to push that row into Row 18 of the Ashton_Guitars sheet. Intuitively this seems odd? If this were the first entry would you not want to push the information into the first blank cells of the Ashton_Guitars sheet (row 2 perhaps)?


Could you go about this a bit differently? Would it be a reasonable suggestion to push the data to the dependant sheets when ever you clicked a button. This way your master sheet could drive your dependent sheets (you would clear the sheets of any data before you ran the procedure and all sheets would be updated at once. I think this would be a lot cleaner than having a procedure run every time you made an entry in your master worksheet. But maybe I have read this incorrectly.
