Analytical Charts

Hi,

I have been using the explanation provided in http://chandoo.org/wp/2011/03/16/analytical-charts-tutorial/ to create a selectable switch chart ( 5 buttons, 5 charts)

Now, this in itself works perfectly. On my computer.

But when i open it up on other computers ( they do have 2007 installed, while i have 2010) only a couple of the buttons seem to work, while the others turn up blank.

I have re done it completely on another computer, using 2007, but i still seem to run in to the same problem.

Now, i have tried this on 6 different computers, with 6 different installs, but the same thing keeps on happening.

Similar thing is while using something based on the growing mustache (http://chandoo.org/wp/2012/08/22/growing-a-money-mustache-using-excel/).

While it works on my pc, when i try to verify it on other pc' s, the image is low pixelated, and sometimes doesn't really seem to work.

Now, know that this is in a work environment. We all have the same work station, same screens, same hardware.

Could anybody help out, or suggest something else i could do that should work on every pc?

Thnx in advance

Pofski

Is there any chance you can post the file here so we can review what's going on?

If you give me a couple of minutes, i'll just remove sensitive data, and i'll post it

Thnx for the help already hui

hope it works

On the tab Dashboard, Top right, you have the 5 buttons, they interact with the graph underneath it. When i try it on different computers, sometimes it only shows 2 or 3 of the 5 graphs, sometimes it shows none.

I have temporarely included a droplist to the right of it, to see if it had anything to do with the buttons.

On the tab H&R Dashboard, when changing the male female test iconograph numbers, the graph doesn't change, or doesn't even show for everybody

It works fine for me and

I can't see any reason this wouldn't work

I am using Excel 2010 and hopefully someone else with 2007 will investigate

ps: Nice Looking Dashboard

Thnx for the complement Hui, it's the first thing i ever made in excel, so i'm not sure about possible incompatibility mistakes. :)

Guess i can't do anything but wait :/

@Pofski - Very nice dashboard. Obviously you put a lot of work into it.

I downloaded the file and, using Excel 2007, had trouble displaying three of the five graphs using the radio buttons. I wandered through the spreadsheet and opened up all the tabs, finally returning to the "Dashboard" tab. Now, all five graphs appear to work just fine. The second and third graphs appear to display the same data, but the titles update when the buttons are clicked.

Digging around some more, I came up with this. Open the spreadsheet and click on any of the graphs from the data tab starting at B56. Then return to the "Dashboard" tab and click on the radio buttons. Graphs should now work. Just don't ask why.
