Am I asking too much from Excel?

Right now I'm dealing with a data which is almost exclusively strings value. The data in the two rightmost category correspond to each other. Almost all cell contains a list of words. The tricky part is, I have to extract one word from the rightmost category (food allergent) then find its correlation with the category on its left (symptoms).

Name Symptoms Food allergent
A Cough, cold, dyspnea Chocolate, milk, coconut
B Cough, cold Chocolate
C Cold Milk, coconut
D Dyspnea, cough Chocolate
E Cold, dyspnea Chocolate, milk
F Cough Milk
G Cough, dyspnea Chocolate, coconut
etc.

e.g. Let's say I picked chocolate. Which cells contain the word "chocolate", then on its immediate left (symptoms) will show the allergic reaction caused by ingesting said food. And then cook it further to obtain the distribution of symptoms caused by chocolate. The goal is, to obtain the data regarding within the number of people allergic to chocolate, how many people develop cough, how many people develop cold, and so on.

I'm seriously wondering, am I asking too much from MS Excel? Is it possible to do it? I'm a newbie in Excel, and statistics in general...

p.s. Why can't I upload a file? I want to provide a better understanding yet I can't upload a file that I prepared.... :(

Many things are possible even with Excel.
You should upload Your data with clear idea of Your case including some samples.
I can't upload a file...! :(
Why....
I even prepared the file in order to provide better understanding. But I can't upload it. When I select "upload a file" I can't find it anywhere....

p.s. I seem to have upload it now. Dunno what prompt it to notice the file and whatnot. Anyway, please let it be uploaded..

Thank you very much. One question though. How do you enable that feature? What function do you use?
I intend to apply it to the real data, the one I upload is just an example though. The original data was much larger in quantity and in my local language. Thank you very much for your help. =)

Also, is it possible to automatically turn it into logical value instead of string value? For example, to automatically know how much people who have allergy to chocolate develop cough symptom (e.g. chocolate-->cough=10 people; or chocolate-->cold=7)? Or do I need to manually take notes from it?

Again, thank you very much and I'm sorry if I accidentally bothering in any ways....

Anyway, here's the original data looked like. In my local language, Bahasa. I'm from Indonesia. Greetings. =D

"Keluhan" means symptoms, and "Makanan" means food (in this data, represents food allergents). The rest can be ignored.

Makanan ... something like this?
Wonderful... Absolutely wonderful!!

This is what I need. I need to cook this data for my final assignment. This literally means the difference between graduate and drop out for me. I was helpless until I stumble upon this site. Thank God people as helpful and kind like you exist. I don't know who you are, sir/ma'am. But wherever you are, I hope you stay healthy. Cheers. =D
