Alt+Down Arrow Key Shortcut

Hi All,


Just going through the keyboard short cut at http://office.microsoft.com/en-in/excel-help/excel-shortcut-and-function-keys-HP010073848.aspx found below short-cut key as highlighted.


So I tried it and it do the following.



It presented a drop down with all the items listed above in the column. So this can overcome autofill.

I found it cool. Just try this.

The Drop Down list is showing only for Text in the particular Columns and not for Dates and Amount too

Ahhha nice catch. But I think this feature is more valid for text only.

Should not contain empty cells adjacently and will give column list till nearest first empty cell.
Again only of text as stated above @ sgmpatnaik
