Aging analysis

I need to do aging analysis of issues raised during internal audits. I have a sheet with all the required fields one of which is the "days". I usually did the aging for 0-30, 31-60, 61-90 and so on as per my "wish". I used nested IFs to achieve this which is then used as data source for a pivot table.

Some managers want aging as per their brackets, i.e. one wants 0-60, 61-180, and so on. Management wants 0-180, 180-365, and so on.

Is there an easier way to achieve this with varying brackets for aging analysis.

Regards,

Ninad.

Hi,

You can manullay enter these aging days in some particular cell & refrence that cell in your IF formula.

Please help with some example data in this post itself so that I can help you with formula.

In excel 2007 - go to Formulas Tab, Show Formula, this will display the formulas in the sheet, select the cells for which you want to change the brackets, Control F enter the old values & new new values > replace all & you are done.
