Advanced Filter

Hi Chandoo People,

I have advanced filtering question for you this time. On the file I uploaded for you can you take a look at the tab called Opponent Batting Stat. I've been trying to do some filter but can't get the records to match the criteria. I included the Headings on both the criteria range and the list range. Not sure if I am doing the and/ or right. Can you look at this for me? Thanks a lot, joe from Michigan.

I have a question about this question. If wanted to filter column D and all rows that are >3. How would you declare that in this scenario?

Whenever I perform the advance filter, I only get the header. It should display lines 186 and 187, right?

Your issue is Oppenent.

You have "CLEV" in criteria range, but have "CLE" in data.

I'm not sure what exactly you want to pull as result.

If it's Line item that meet all condition (I.E. Player = "Don Kelly" AND Opponent = "CLE" AND AB >3)... then your criteria should be set up like below.



It should show rows; 186, 187 and 269.

Yes I put the criteria exactly as you have it and it did pop up. The first row in the criteria is for "and" correct?

Ok now its working. I performed this criteria for Alex Avila.
