I can try , my native language is not English but te code is VBA
But tomorrow I try to send the same file in English, I realy want to do something back for Chandoo forum

Make sure the excel file you want to unprotect is closed.
If you want to unprotect a sheet activate that sheet first, save and close.

I tested your English version .. but it took too long time and no good point I reached
Just searching and the sheet is still protected ..

FWIW, although I admire the desire to give something back, there are better versions of this code already discussed here, and many versions available that will simply work on the active workbook or worksheet, as required.
