A place that explains excel functions

Is there anywhere that explains a short description of all or most formulas, what pivot tables are (do). Ect.... I always see formulas like MOD,DIV . Ect... Although some are easily more abt to explain themselves like I can assume DIV is divide but I could be wrong ..... So is there a place with descriptions ?
