2 sets of stacked data in a column chart

Hi there-

I have 2 "major" data categories...projected & actual. Both categories can be further broken down to Business & Technical. What I'm trying to show is Projected Business & Techincal (1 bar) for the month vs Actual Business & Technical (1 bar).

I can get one set of the series to stack (either only projected business & techincal, or, actual business & technical), but, not both NEXT to each other. It keeps stacking them all on top of each other.

Any ides?

Thanks

I'm not getting a chart...it doesn't seem to work when I pick this combo of data. I can get it for say, projected only, or, actual only...just not BOTH on the same graph.

3G,

Data layout is the key. Perhaps Jon's article here will help:

This is interesting. I'm assuming that you have two series (one for business and one for technical) and then two x axis values (Projected and Actual). Is that correct?

Thanks @Luke!!! As always you're help is appreciated...

Hi OleMiss, yes. Luke's article link pointed out a key flaw with my data organization.
