    yes, the native ones. thank you. It's odd that other folks in my office have the same version of Excel and some have the labels and some don't. We just can't seems to figure out the difference.

    I found the tip to hide command labels. exactly what I was looking for but... when I right click the ribbon item, the menu I get has everything BUT "Hide Command Labels". I get "Add New Tab", "Add New Group", etc. What do I do to get this option to Hide Command Labels?
