    Can I avoid hitting F2 Enter for a copied date to take the right format ?

    Sometimes when I paste columns with dates on them, they do not take the right format. But when I hit F2 and <Enter>, the dates change to the right format ! Painting the desired date format on the columns after pasting doesn't help, nor does pre-formatting the columns before pasting...
