Dear Prazad82, i just modified your formula, =IF(C2="","",IF($C2="Attended","Completed","Pending")) to check blank or non blank cell in c column

You can use formula: =IF(C2="Attended","Completed","Pending") By doing color: Conitional Formatting->New Rule->Format only cells that contains->click drop down-> select specific text-> containing->"Pend" again new rule for "Completed" I hope it will work for you
