    thank you very much. As i said, its the sample. I have 6000 such location codes or Data Input as per the code. Do i need to pass only in the query all 6000 or can this managed by refering the values in another array and then do the count with the actual data ? Appreciate the help here.

    Thanks Bosco and Chihiro. For some reason, this is expecting all cells to be blank after 100.5 as a last value. If I enter a cell with some value, then the count is not same.

    thank you very much. can i use an arrary in column B instead of one specific value ? I did tried with the formula as attached and this seems to be not working.. In the sense, every column in cell A, will be checked with all values in Cell B rather than a specific value
