My story:
Started seriously using Excel back in 2004 (Office 2000!) as a lowly intern. Kept getting assigned mundane, repetitive tasks every month and realized there had to be a better way. Colleague introduced me to the Microsoft Office forums, where I was able to ask questions about how to build macros. I went through every function in XL at the time, and learned what they meant. Since then, I've continued to challenge myself by visiting forums and reading about technique. I discovered Chandoo's site from a recommendation on Jon Peltier's site where I was studying tutorials on charts and examples of bad charts. Joined the forums here soon after, loved the community, and became the 2nd ninja (after Hui). I love seeing new questions/challenges every day, as it gives my skills the practice and excercise they need to stay sharp.
