Converting exponential data to text format

Dear Gurus,

My data is in form of 35E260 in ERP when I am copy & pasting in excel it is shown as 3.5E+260 how can i get the same as shown in ERP?

Kindly guide.Thanks in advance.

Hi Vignesh,

Might be I am wrong, when tested in Excel 2010, only changing the cell format to TEXT will not resolve this issue as when you will paste the data the number format will automatically be change to Scientific. So you need to format the cell as TEXT and when pasting use Paste Special dialogue box using ribbon button or shortcut Ctrl+Alt+V, and select Text as shown below to get in correct format.
