PivotChart - Display axis (categories)

Jacob Petersen

Dear Experts,

I have created a PivotChart with multiple data in my x-axis. The information is displayed nicely, but in addition to having the usual information displayed, I also need the axis category displayed as well.

Please see attachment.

Thanks in advance,

Best regards,
Jacob

If you want to keep the pivot table as is. You'd need to add helper column(s) to data source and create linked pivot table.

1. Update original pivot table's data source to include those helper columns (but don't use it in the pivot table).
2. Create 2nd pivot table by copying the first (to make it share same pivot cache). I'd place it in separate sheet.
3. Remove [Specification] and [Supplier] from row label for the 2nd pivot and add helper columns as row labels.
4. Create pivot chart based on 2nd pivot.
5. Add slicers to control both pivot tables & the chart.
6. You can now hide the sheet containing 2nd pivot.

See attached.
