Anyone know what the size limit for uploading excel files to Chandoo.org forums is?

Hi Elliot ,

Two points :

1. The answer to your question is 1 MB. Anything above 1 MB in size , and you will have to use a public file-sharing website such as RapidShare , SpeedyShare , DropBox , GoogleDocs , SkyDrive to upload your file to , give others permission to access the file , and then post that access link here.

2. The normal section of this forum for posting general Excel related questions is the Ask An Excel Question section ; the section you have used is exclusively for questions related to the templates Chandoo retails on his website.

Excel files compress really well so saving the file as an Excel Binary file type *.xlsb or zipping it using WinZip or WinRar etc will enable you to typically post files of 10+ MB here.

Files that contain lots of images don't compress well, but all most other Excel files do.
