Changing Edit links with vba

Hello Everybody.

This is some thing related to reconciliations with other files and saving a copy of it by changing the edit links.

Let me take an example

1) We have one master file and other 15 files let's say 15 files and the format is same in every file including master file.

2) Need to compare master file number with each of the file which has the same format.

3) Now macro file with same format is linked with master file and 1 file out fifteen files and checking whether there is a variances.

4) This can be achieved by linked again 2nd file by edit links simply.

But what am looking is we will have one macro file with links master file and 1st file from 15 files...Now vba should go to the folder and pick up the second file and link automatically and refresh the file and save copy into another file and so on.

Need you best solution to achieve this..

Appreciate quick response.

Please can you help with an idea about question...as uploading file is not possible...sorry for that.

You can upload samples files with same layout as original ones …

Without, as we are not mind readers, see samples in threads or tutorials.
You can also start your code by activating Macro recorder
and operate manually …
