2 Links for Chandoo forum?

Hey guys,

I noticed this a while ago but there seems to be 2 links to Chandoo forum. I stumbled on it by accident to be honest because I couldn't remember whether to type in forum or forums.

If you write chandoo.org/forum then you end up at chandoo.org/forum

But if you type in chandoo.org/forums then it diverts to forum.chandoo.org

Anyone noticed this? Any reason behind it?

Yeah, I noticed too.

I think chandoo.org/forum is the New URL (after migration), and forum.chandoo.org is Old URL, both pointing to the same site.

Old forum members may confirm.

Thats correct

Because the new site was being tested at the same time as the old site it had a slightly different name. There was half a dozen of us who tested it for about a month before it went live

Just as in Excel you can also use hyperlinks/redirection in web addresses and so Chandoo has probably setup a number to catch slightly mispelt addresses as well
